There is no better way to get to know our independently owned and operated restaurants then taking the Eat NSB walking tour https://eatnsb.com/. This can be an amazing adventure to take with families, friends, or bridal parties. With stops at many of our personal favorite Canal Street restaurants.
The Corkscrew https://www.corkscrewbarandgrille.com/. Whose chefs take great pride in providing you the best American classic comfort foods with a little southern twist. They use only the best local and fresh ingredients. This high standard earned them, The Stars of the South winners for both best waitstaff/service and best overall restaurant and it happens to be my son Bryan’s favorite place to eat when he comes to visit. He says “it just feels like home”.
Yellow Dog Eats http://yellowdogeats.com. Yellow dogs eats menu is full of fun sandwiches, salads, and a little different take on a barbeque. We can always count on then to provide the freshest locally-grown baby green, homemade desserts, and multi-grain bread. All provided in an atmosphere one can only find in the Historic District. They were this year’s winner of the February Souper Sampler. I have it on good authority they have the best fish tacos anywhere.
Thai Mango http://thaimangonsb.com There is no better place to enjoy Thai food than Thai Mango. This is one of my son Jason’s favorite places to eat in town. He claims Thai hot is like being in Thailand. The food is always on point and this family really goes the extra mile. The amount the care about their guests really comes across in their food.
The Galley https://www.thegalleynsb.com. The galley specializes in premium olive oils and balsamic vinegar which are always fresh and on tap. However, is you take the Eat NSB tour you get to enjoy a private tasting. The galley was also in the top three of the Canal Street ever popular February Souper Sampler event.
